WILL YOU TRAIN OUR DOG FOR US?

Currently we do not have the time to dedicate to training other dogs. We have 3 kids that are in sports and school activities. We are happy to refer other trainers.

DO YOU DO HEALTH TESTING ON YOUR SIRES AND DAMS?

Yes! We use Embark for dna testing of hereditary diseases and we have our dogs checked at Iowa state university for hips, elbows, and eyes. We submit all results to OFA.

WHY CHOOSE A PUPPY FROM FOUNDATION RETRIEVERS?

Quick answer is we place quality over quantity. We only breed dams if they have the hunting capability, the off switch in the home, and the trainability we desire. The sires we choose are not your buddies dog from next door. Typically the sires have an AKC title of QAA, AFC, FC, or MH. Also they have to be clear of any hereditary defects.
